Community, Hosted By Cheltenham Center for the Arts/Rebecca Schultz

  2. Took place on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
  3. Cheltenham Center for the Arts

  4. Seeking self-identified women (non-binary and genderqueer folx welcome!) of all ages and experiences from the Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Oak Lane communities to participate in a site specific performance and installation, which will take place at High School Park and the Elkins Park Train Station in May 2020. Facilitated by artist Rebecca Schultz and co-created with women in her immediate community this piece will examine our relationship to local ecosystems and personal actions we are taking to address the ecological crisis. No performance experience is necessary, just an interest in exploring environmental issues through the creative process--activists, gardeners, and outdoors enthusiasts are welcome! Interested? Come to an information session to learn more about the project and try out some of the interactive exercises we'll use to create the piece! Please rsvp to rebecca@rebeccaschultzprojects.com.
