FarmerJawn Agriculture, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) grower based in Elkins Park, recently released the details for their 2023 summer options.
Farmerjawn has additionally partnered with Wyncote Academy and Cheltenham High School. The three entities were recently awarded an urban agriculture infrastructure grant for $45,000 from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The grant will support Project Based Learning (PBL) students as they design, build, and operate a hydroponics system at FarmerJawn on the Elkins Estate in Cheltenham.
