Elkins Park hypnotherapist, owner of Quit It Now, offers holiday loss coping tips

Dr. Steven Rosenberg, a psychotherapist, behavioral specialist, and owner of Quit It Now in Elkins Park, was recently featured by PHL17 for his advice on dealing with loss during the holiday season.

“This year is going to be different because you have lost your loved one. The holidays may even be painful. It may even be an animal loss. You’ve gotta be flexible,” he said.

Quit It Now, located at 8080 Old York Road #206, offers hypnotherapy for those struggling with weight loss and smoking.

“Alcohol is a depressant and you don’t want to get yourself involved in an excess of alcohol consumption because it really can lead to depression,” he said.

Dr. Rosenberg also spoke about setting up new traditions and doing something out of the ordinary, among other suggestions.
