Elkins Park artist featured on King of Prussia Arts Montco Wall

The King of Prussia Mall and the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board have partnered in an effort to promote local artists.

Featuring original works from local Montgomery County artists, the Arts Montco Wall at the King of Prussia Mall was unveiled on Thursday, October 28th. The hope is that the artists will rotate a few times a year.

The seven artists currently on display are Sandy Alves of Collegeville, Anthe of Flourtown, Katherine Bampfield of East Norriton, Harry Boardman of Souderton, the Pandemic Design Studio of Bridgeport, Robby Schlesinger of Elkins Park, and Lynnette Shelley of Norristown.

From the Daily Local News:

According to Rachel Riley, spokeswoman for the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, the purpose of the project is to use space at one of the most “iconic” malls in the U.S. to showcase the artists, offering them “the opportunity to showcase their work to the mall’s heavy foot traffic,” while raising awareness about Montgomery as an arts destination.
