Dynamis Skin Sciences, a Jenkintown-based skin care products company since 1997, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, indicating a plan to liquidate assets.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported that the company listed assets of $18,955 and liabilities of just under $889,000 in its February 1 filing at U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Philadelphia.

Dynamis owes $12,000 for its office lease at The Pavilion at 261 Old York Road and just under $208,000 to company founder and CEO Annette Tobia, the Journal said.

Its listed creditors include a dozen others that are owed less than $2,500 each.

Dynamis was originally founded to commercialize technology developed at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
