Dreshertown Plaza Rite Aid now up for bankruptcy sale, store to close Dec. 6

The Rite Aid at 1650 Limeklin Pike in the Dreshertown Plaza was recently added to the list of Philadelphia-area stores which are now up for sale, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.

A Rite Aid associate told us that their last day of business will be Wednesday, December 6.

The retail pharmacy currently has 84 retail leases and 21 fee-owned properties available for sale across fourteen states. The Rite Aid in the Abington Shopping Center at 1441 Old York Road shut its doors for good in October.

The stores at 1321 Easton Road, 1401 W Cheltenham Avenue, and 805 Huntingdon Pike have so far avoided the list of 150 properties the drug store chain plans to close.

The Rite Aid Corporation began preparing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year. For more on the Dresher location, you can click here.
