The Rite Aid in the Abington Shopping Center at 1441 Old York Road will be closing its doors for good on or around October 8, according to a letter circulated by the pharmacy and a store associate.

The associate told Glenside Local that multiple merchandise items in the store are being discounted by as much as 70 percent until closure.

The associate confirmed that the Rite Aid at 1321 Easton Road will remain open.
