Downtown Glenside Foundation highlights art store Then and Again

The Downtown Glenside Foundation recently featured Then and Again, an eclectic art store, in a Business Highlight as part of their 2023 Spring Newsletter.

From DGF’s newsletter:

If you are on the search for unique pieces of art, check out Then and Again, located at 221 S Easton Rd, Glenside, PA. Store owner, Chip Masemore, seeks to give a new life to the items he discovers on the side of the road or in the trash by repurposing them into one-of-a-kind pieces that fill Then and Again, making it the special Glenside business that it is.

Chip was a former building contractor who used to sell the items he made at vintage flea markets, including Clover Market in Chestnut Hill. Shortly after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chip opened Then and Again, a new home for his incredible repurposed creations. The shop features reimagined pieces like a 1915 grapefruit juicer turned into a table lamp, crutches transformed into a floor lamp, an old sewing machine that became a tractor, a keyboard that is now a coffee table, and golf clubs made into a floor lamp. As Chip says, “It may be art, or it may be just junk, but I’m good with either.” So whether you want to give an out-of-the-ordinary piece a new home or feel amazed by the creativity behind artwork found at Then and Again, the local Glenside business is a must-see.

Then and Again is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm (sometimes later), or you can call 215-688-8933 for a more convenient time. There is no better way to spend an afternoon at the end of the week than browsing Then and Again and enjoying the nice weather by taking a short walk to one of Chip’s go-to local eateries, the Glenside Pub.
