DLR Dream Suite, a new event rental space located at 610 Old York Road in Jenkintown, is expected to open next month.
DLR is an acronym for “Design Lab Rentals.” The 3,800 sf space will host baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, fundraisers, and anything in between.
Owner Kristin (who preferred to omit her last name) says this is her third location since launching her business, DLR Venues, five years ago.
“I started as a party rental company with very humble beginnings,” Kristin told Glenside Local. “I saw how much people were spending, and thought I’d open my own space.”
DLR’s first location opened in Philadelphia in 2020, and a King of Prussia opened in 2023. The forthcoming Jenkintown venue “promises an unforgettable experience, combining the timeless beauty of white marble tile with a luxurious ambiance,” DLR’s website says.
