Arcadia University to host ‘Dance All Knight’, a dance marathon honoring those impacted by childhood cancer, on April 10

Arcadia University will host an event titled “Dance All Knight” from 6:00pm – 11:00pm on Friday, April 10 in Brubaker 201.

Dance All Knight is a five-hour dance marathon where students, families, and community members come together for a meaningful and high-energy night to honor those impacted by. childhood cancer, organizers said. The evening will include line dancing, games, and guest speakers, including cancer survivors and families.

The event is organized by For The Kids (FTK), a student-run organization dedicated to supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Through fundraising, advocacy, and community-building efforts, FTK works year-round to raise awareness and provide support, primarily through a partnership with Four Diamonds. Four Diamonds helps cover medical expenses for families at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital and funds critical pediatric cancer research.

“Dance All Knight is more than just an event, it’s a reflection of what happens when a community comes together with purpose,” student organizer Rachel Szczurek told Glenside Local. “Every hour of planning, every fundraiser, and every person in that room represents hope for children battling cancer. It’s incredibly powerful to see so many people rally behind these kids and their families, turning something deeply personal into a shared mission to make a real difference.”
