Dino’s Backstage announced its closing and took a bow last June, exiting the Keswick stage for good. Today, Dino’s becomes the comeback kid. We just learned that it will reopen tomorrow evening with a retooled concept that promises a lighter, faster, and more reasonably-priced menu.

Dino told GlensideLocal that the response to the closing changed his mind. “I read all the comments on Facebook,” he told GlensideLocal, “and had a change of heart.”

Dino credits his associate Julio Ugarte (above at left) for helping to hone the concept, providing “an easier, quicker, menu that is more casual than before”, something, he believes, will have much greater appeal to the surrounding neighborhood.
