“Conversations With Your Commissioners” is a great event that takes place throughout Montgomery County and allows constituents to meet their commissioners and discuss the important issues within their communities.
“Our county is large and diverse, so we have these conversations to meet our residents face to face and find out what issues are impacting our residents in their neighborhoods,” said Dr. Val Arkoosh, Chair, Montgomery County Commissioners. “It helps us better understand how to serve the residents in every corner of the county.”
Montgomery County has had such a positive response to these well attended meetings that began back in 2013. It is a great opportunity for commissioners to share information with the community that many residents might not know exists. In return, as a Montgomery County resident, you can discuss any concerns or questions you never had the chance to address.
“The Conversations with the Commissioners helps us get feedback from residents on the aspects of county government that matter most to them, and creates an opportunity for us to directly share information about many county services and projects that residents may not know about,” said Ken Lawrence, Jr., Vice Chair
The 2018 series has four different dates and locations. For our area, Cheltenham and Abington township, the date is May 8 @ 7 p.m. at the Abington Township Municipal Building. The address is 1176 Old York Road, Abington PA. 19001
