Conor Gesing, a 2022 graduate of Abington High School and a freshman on Florida University’s Swimming & Diving team, was recently named SEC Men’s Freshman of the Week.

According to Swimming World Magazine, Gesing “swept the springboard events in the win over No. 9 Georgia. Gesing posted a personal best of 364.73 on the 1-meter and a score of 375.00 on the 3-meter to remain undefeated this season.”

In May, Gesing was named to USA Diving’s 2023 High Performance Squad.

A former member of TNT Diving club in Fort Washington, Gesing was a three-time District 1 AAA Boys Diving champion for the Ghosts and a three-time finalist at the 2021 USA Diving Zone A Championships.
