The Montgomery County Commissioners have issued a Code Red Hot Weather Health Warning for Sunday, July 19th through Wednesday, July 22nd based on the forecast from the National Weather Service.

Code Reds are issued in anticipation of an “oppressively hot air mass” with a heat index of 100ºF or more. The forecast for this period is that the heat index value will reach or go above 100 between noon and 6:00 p.m. each day. Residents are encouraged to take precautions to prevent heat-related stress and exhaustion.
