Classic Mack “Bumper Pumper” returns to Cheltenham FC after 75 years

The Cheltenham Fire Company recently received a 1938 Mack 40 Pumper, #40 S 1002.

After serving the Cheltenham community from 1938 to 1948, the pumper spent 75 years with The Deer Park Fire Company in Cherry Hill, NJ.

The pumper was purchased with funds donated by the members, families and friends of the Cheltenham Hook & Ladder Company No.1. It will be owned by Cheltenham Fire Company and used for fire prevention, recruitment and retention, parades, fire musters, car shows, weddings, and funerals.
