Jean Bonniman McElroy Schmid, a 1952 Cheltenham High School graduate, passed away on October 18. She was 88.

According to her obituary, she married the late Norman W. Schmid in 1959 after meeting him while they were both teaching in the Abington School District. Mr. Schmind served as principal at Abington Senior High School for 27 years. They were married for 59 years until Norm’s death in 2018.
