Christmas Village returning to Philly’s Love Park, opening dates, details announced

Christmas Village will return to Love Park in Center City next month for its 16th year, featuring new hours, new lights and a few surprises.

The market will begin with a special preview weekend on November 18 and 19, with an official seasonal opening November 23. It will continue through December 24.

Over 120 vendors will be open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday through Thursday and until 9:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The event has become one of the region’s largest holiday attractions and a draw for both locals and tourists, with around 900,000 visitors in 2022, according to the The Philadelphia Business Journal. New this year will be “authentic European-style lights on the wooden vendor booths” and “rides such as a Ferris wheel, kids train and a double-decker carousel.”

Vegan Wurst Wednesdays are new to the scene this year as well.
