A new Chick-fil-A restaurant will open for business on Wednesday, December 11 at 1000 Easton Road in Wyncote’s Cedarbrook Plaza (Cheltenham Township).

Chick-fil-A Cedarbrook Plaza will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and Mobile Thru, a fully dedicated lane in the drive-thru from 6:30am to 10:00pm, Monday through Saturday.

The franchise has selected Lawrence Kibunjah as the independent local owner-operator. The new restaurant takes over the former Houlihan’s and Golden Corral Buffet & Grill space.

A Chik-Fil-A already exists just down the road at 2421 Cheltenham Avenue. Henry Sekawungu, Cheltenham’s Director of Planning and Zoning, told Glenside Local in December 2023 that the additional franchise is intended to take some pressure off of the existing franchise, which has been seeing an influx of customers.
