Cheltenham Township will host its 65th annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 3 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Kleinheinz Pond on the Tookany Creek Parkway between Central Avenue and Beryl Road.

The event is open to children up to age 15. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration begins at 8:30am. Entry costs $3 per participant and includes light refreshments and a chance to wins prizes. Participants are asked to bring their own bait and rod.

The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Northeast Philadelphia, Cheltenham, and Rockledge in conjunction with the Township’s Parks and Recreation Department.
