Agree on Sewerage Plan: Disposal Arrangements Completed for Cheltenham and Upper Darby

Final arrangements for disposal of sewage on the part of the city and the townships of Cheltenham and Upper Darby were reached yesterday when Mayor Moore agreed to plans made.

Cheltenham township agrees to pay the City of Philadelphia on a sliding scale based on the quantity of sewage carried and treated and the township of Upper Darby agrees to pay to the City of Philadelphia at the flat rate of $1000 a year. In the case of Upper Darby township this will remove the final contributing cause to the annoyance long complained of in Cobbs Creek, and in the case of Cheltenham Township, it will remove the sewage of that township from Tacony Creek.
