Cheltenham Township announced today that PECO contractors will soon be installing new conduit and new underground cable for electric service along Paxson Avenue, South Avenue, Glenside Avenue, Chelten Hills Drive, Old York Road, and Stahr Road.

Construction is scheduled to begin later this month with an estimated completion date of mid-September 2025. 

The work is part of a $3.6M infrastructure project and will be performed by PECO crews and qualified PECO contractors.

Any impacted portions of streets will be restored, the township said.
