Cheltenham Sergeant Joseph O’Neill awarded PEMA’s Local Professional Emergency Management Certificate

Cheltenham Township Emergency Management announced that Sergeant Joseph W. O’Neill, Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, was awarded the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Local Professional Emergency Management Certificate.

Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and Police Sgt. Joe O’Neill received his Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Local Professional Emergency Management Certificate. This accomplishment took hours of training and will ensure our team is prepared. Joe is shown receiving this certificate from Amanda Brady, Training and Preparedness Coordinator for Montgomery County. Also on hand to congratulate Joe were First Deputy Coordinator Kim Kirschner, Coordinator Ken Hellendall, and Police Chief John Slavin. Congratulations Sgt. O’Neill!


According to Sergeant O’Neill’s LinkedIn profile, he is a resident of Elkins Park and has been with the Cheltenham Township Police Department since 2001.
