Cheltenham police taking part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day | Crush Crew Jiu-Jitsu to hold Kids & Teens self-defense seminar in Abington

The Cheltenham Township Police Department will take part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Cheltenham’s police station, 8230 Old York Road.

Residents can drop off excess prescription drugs (unused or expired medications) for safe disposal in the lobby, officials said.

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

  • Controlled and Non-control Medications
  • Over-The-Counter Medications
  • Liquids and Creams in containers
  • Inhalers

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

  • Illegal Substances
  • SYRINGES

In related news, Crush Crew Jiu-jitsu in Flourtown will host a Kids & Teens self-defense class on Friday, April 19 at 6:00pm at Salem Baptist School, 2741 Woodland Avenue in Abington.
