Cheltenham police honor Lt. Dan Farley, retiring today after 28 years of service

The Cheltenham Township Police Department honored Lieutenant Dan Farley, who retires today after 28 years of service.

According to the department, Lieutenant Farley has served as a Patrol Officer, Corporal, Sergeant, and as a Lieutenant since 2013.

His assignments included the Patrol Division, Administrative Services Division, and Detective Division, where he completed his final years as Division Commander. He also served as a Firearms Instructor and Field Training Officer and was a recipient of multiple commendations during his career.

The photo above was from a 2016 meeting in Curtis Hall, during which Farley was presented with a plaque and a gold pin to recognize his 20th year of service with the department.
