The Cheltenham Police Department announced that it has arrested four individuals responsible for car thefts in the area, in part a result of and response to an uptick in similar incidents as of late.

According to the Department’s Facebook post, the thieves smashed car windows to access items inside. Officers encourage residents to avoid leaving valuables inside vehicles overnight and ask that thefts be immediately reported via 9-1-1.
