Cheltenham grad receives prestigious ‘Tax Law Trailblazers’ recognition

Sara Lima, a 1995 Cheltenham High School graduate and attorney, has been selected by the National Law Journal for its 2023 list of “Tax Law Trailblazers”.

Lima, a partner in Reed Smith’s State Tax Group in Philadelphia, is one of only 15 lawyers nationwide chosen for the honor.

The award recognizes attorneys who have had a significant impact on the industry through precedent-setting cases, policy changes or technological advancements.

Lima leads Reed Smith’s unclaimed property team and represents leading national companies on unclaimed property audit defense, litigation and compliance.

She majored in English and Economics at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and earned her law degree at Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.
