Troy Gore, head coach of the Cheltenham High School football team, has been named one of six coaches for the Eastern team in the upcoming East/West All-Star game on Sunday, May 19, the district said.
He was also selected to serve as a director on the board of the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association, the district announced.
Gore was hired in 2021. The Panthers went 5-6 overall and 4-1 in conferences games during the 2023 season.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University in leadership in emergency management services; a Master of Arts degree from Saint Joseph’s University in homeland security; and is working to complete his Ph.D. in public safety leadership from Capella University.
