Cheltenham elementary school teacher launches classroom fundraising drive

Mrs. Elizabeth Wolford, an elementary school teacher in the Cheltenham School District since 2018, recently launched a fundraising campaign for her classroom this year.

From her project’s description:

This project includes supplies to help my students through each day, including fidgets for when they become dysregulated, snacks, prizes and some wonderful new books! My students always come to be for a quiet area to decompress, so making sure they have items to help them during that time is essential. Also, due to the population of students that I work with, I have students come to my each day for a snack due to not being sent with one. This helps them feel like all of the other students and helps keep them energized!

The landing page also notes that more than a third of the District’s students come from low‑income households. According to the site, all of Mrs. Wolford’s students have IEPs.
