Lyn and Charlie Church, residents of Wyncote and co-owners of Glenside’s Minuteman Press, are approaching a full decade in business.
“We started from scratch in 2016. We were exploring options to have our own business, and we went to the franchise show in Philadelphia,” Lyn said. “We were impressed with their professionalism, and the more we explored, the more we liked the idea.”
In September 2022, the shop received the Top Overall Performance Award at the Minuteman Press International World Expo 2022. For Lyn, a retired member of the Rotary Club of Glenside, being a part of the community and getting to know their customers is the best part of running the shop.
“We’re really excited to be a part of Keswick Village. We’re members with the Keswick Village Business Association. Most of the businesses in the village are customers, and we’re customers of theirs,” she said. “We feel good helping them achieve what they’re trying to achieve.”
The parents of Cheltenham High School graduates, Lyn and Charlie are also the proud owners of an 18-year-old beagle named Roxy.
“She’s at the shop with us every day. There are people that come in just to say hi to her,” Lyn said, noting that she and Charlie’s 34th wedding anniversary is coming this fall.
“Charlie and I have enjoyed working with each other these past nine years. We’re at the point where we appreciate our differences and celebrate our strengths,” she said.
