A speed camera program along Broad Street will launch on Monday, September 15, CBS News reported today.
The cameras, which are located at 15 intersections from the edge of Cheltenham Township to South Philadelphia, are intended to make the roadway safer for drivers and pedestrians.
Violators who drive 11 mph over the posted speed limit will receive a warning during a 60-day grace period, after which point speeding drivers will receive a fine of up to $150.
