Blendery, a new smoothie shop located at 501 Washington Lane in Jenkintown (Abington Township), is hosting a soft opening on Wednesday, November 19.

Owner Bottrakhem Kaing told Glenside Local that a grand opening will follow. Construction for the new building began over the summer after the borough approved plans and blueprints.

Kaing also owns and manages two food trucks, Sip & Smooth and P n’ S, in greater Philadelphia.

“What makes us different from other smoothie shops is we use fresh fruit. We also have fruit salads,” Kaing, who lives just beyond the Cheltenham Township border, said. “Our menu can customize their own smoothie with proteins, sea moss, things like that. We’ll also have avocado toast and small sandwiches, but our focus is always the smoothies.”
