The Abington Township Shade Tree Commission will host its Fall 2023 Tree Giveaway for residents on Saturday, October 21 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Crestmont Park, 2595 Rubicam Avenue in Willow Grove.

The Commision plans to give away 400 trees, each of which must be pre-registered by their recipients. The registration link can be found here.

We have bur and swamp white oaks left, which are the most ecologically beneficial plants on the east coast. They are slow-growing and sturdy, providing literally hundreds of years of beauty, shade, habitat, and increased home values.
