The Abington Township Board of Commissioners will hold a Conditional Use Hearing for the property located at 1209 Rydal Road on Monday, October 16 at 6:30pm at the Township Building, 1176 Old York Road.

According to the Township’s announcement, officials will take action after the public hearing regarding applicant Chaverim Realty Partners, LLC’s proposal for a life care facility and nursing home.

The 7.79-acre, 5,000 sq ft estate has five bedrooms, 5 full / 3 half bathrooms, and 24 parking spaces. A previous proposal submitted by Chaverim called for the new construction of 18 townhomes and 16 duplex units.

The hearing follows a Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday, September 26. A Conditional Use Hearing for the Willow Grove-based Chaverim’s proposal was previously held on Thursday, June 8.
