Abington Crossing Associates, L.P., which owns the parcel of land at 2900 Moreland Road in Willow Grove, has requested a Special Exemption from Abington Township for a veterinary clinic.
According to Abington Fire Marshal Christopher Platz, the clinic would take over the former Mad Mex restaurant property (2862 W Moreland Road), which has been vacant for over a year. In the spring, the space went on the market for $500,000.
The Special Exemption appears in Abington’s September Zoning Hearing Board agenda. Mr. Platz told Glenside Local today that the township has not received any updates since that meeting.
The 3,000 sf retail center is managed by Goodman Properties and has a CVS, a TD Bank, a SuperCuts, an Urgent Care, a Romp ‘n Roll, and a Sherwin Williams.
