Abington Township Police Department declares a snow emergency

Beginning Friday, January 28, 2022 at 7PM and ending Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 7PM, Abington Township Police Chief, Patrick Molloy, has declared a Snow Emergency for Abington Township. During this emergency, no parking is allowed on the Snow Emergency Routes. Any vehicle is left on a Snow Emergency Route could be towed and impounded at the owner’s expense.

A snow emergency can be declared when snowfall exceeds two inches or, in the Chief’s discretion where conditions warrant such a declaration to combat the hazards of snow and ice on the highways.
