The Abington Police Department will host an eight-week Citizens Police Academy from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesdays starting March 16 through April 24.

The program will be held at Abington Township’s Public Safety Training Facility, located at 2200 Florey Lane. Residents of Abington and surrounding communities are eligible to attend.

The program is sponsored by Citizen’s and Police Together (C.A.P.T.).

Have you always been interested in police work? Well here’s your chance to learn everything you’ve always wanted to know about being a police officer. The Academy is designed to teach citizens about the training, policies, and guiding principles of law enforcement and ethics that shape Abington Police Department.
