Abington police investigate multiple thefts from vehicles/vehicle thefts. 2 juveniles arrested, 4 stolen vehicles recovered

The Abington Township Police Department announced today that several neighborhoods experienced thefts from vehicles and vehicle thefts during overnight hours while cars were parked at residents’ homes between November 9, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

Abington police investigated incidents in Huntingdon Valley, Elkins Park, and Roslyn, which resulted in the arrests of two juvenile suspects.

“Through this investigation, multiple cases within Abington Township were solved, along with additional cases in other Montgomery County jurisdictions, with assistance from our partner police departments,” the announcement said, adding that four stolen vehicles were successfully recovered as well.

“The Abington Township Police Department thanks the community and our law enforcement partners for their cooperation and assistance,” the announcement said. “Residents are reminded to always lock vehicles, remove valuables, keys, and key fobs from inside cars, and consider using exterior lighting or security cameras when available. Promptly reporting suspicious activity helps police respond quickly and keeps our neighborhoods safe.”
