Gavin Lewis Saxon, 28, of the 1400 block of St. Charles Place in Abington Township, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, The Pottstown Mercury reported.
He and his cousin Joseph Saxon, 24, of Levittown, were found drunk and asleep on January 24, 2025, at a Wawa on the 2500 block of Philmont Avenue in Huntingdon Valley (Lower Moreland Township). An investigation found that the driver, identified as Gavin, and the passenger, identified as Joseph, were in possession of a firearm, drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were detained and searched.
Gavin took responsibility for the brick of cocaine that was found in the vehicle, and Joseph took responsibility for a 9mm handgun found in the vehicle, The Mercury said. Joseph was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license.
Gavin’s sentencing has been deferred until officials complete a background investigation report about him.
