Conor Gesing, a 2022 graduate of Abington High School and a freshman on Florida University’s Swimming & Diving team, earned third place in the men’s 1-meter final with 371.30 points in his first SEC Swimming and Diving Championships appearance.
In the preliminary round on February 19, Gesing secured a top-five spot and a slot in the men’s 1-meter finals. Gesing ranked third with 342.20 points.
Two days later, he won gold in the men’s 3-meter and was named Men’s Diver of the Meet.
Earlier this year, Gesing placed first in the men’s 1-meter against Miami, Virginia, and Georgia. He also placed first in the men’s 1-meter at the Tennessee Invite.

A former member of TNT Diving club in Fort Washington, Gesing was a three-time District 1 AAA Boys Diving champion for the Ghosts and a three-time finalist at the 2021 USA Diving Zone A Championships.
