Abington and Cheltenham school districts were each recognized by the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support (PaPBS) Network for their School-Wide (SWPBIS) Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports during the 2024-2025 school year.
Abington Middle School was recognized alongside all seven of the district’s elementary schools for sustaining the initiatives.

Among Cheltenham schools, the high school, Cedarbrook Middle School and Cheltenham, Glenside, Wyncote, and Myers elementaries were awarded the distinction.
“This award reflects the district’s dedication to implementing and sustaining Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS),” Cheltenham School District said in a post. “By prioritizing social, emotional, and behavioral wellness, CSD ensures its students have the foundation they need to succeed academically and personally.”
