The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of Fred Breslow, 64, for aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, among other charges.
According to the report, police responded to the area of Philmont Avenue and Pine Road in Huntingdon Valley for a report of a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Officers found a Chevrolet Malibu and a Ford F350 truck involved.
The operator of the Malibu complained of pain in their head, neck, and back. and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver was admitted to “Level 1” trauma due to the complications from the accident and was later listed as “critically ill”, police said.
Breslow, the operator of the F350, was determined to be under the influence. He was taken into custody on the following charges:
- (1) COUNT OF 3735.1 A AGGRAVATED ASSAULT BY VEHICLE WHILE DUI
- (1) COUNT OF 2705 RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON
- (1) COUNT OF 3802 D2 DUI: CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IMPAIRED ABILITY
- (1) COUNT OF 3322 VEHICLE TURNING LEFT
- (1) COUNT OF 3714 C CARELESS DRIVING – SERIOUS BODILY INJURY
- (1) COUNT OF 3714 A CARELESS DRIVING
