Abington Art Center hiring multiple positions, Abington Township seeking Ward 10 commissioner

The Abington Art Center is looking to fill multiple open positions, including a Custodian, a Summer Camp Manager, a Jewelry Instructor, Events House Managers and Summer Art Camp Instructors.

In related news, Abington Township is looking to fill a recently vacated Ward 10 Commissioner for the resigning Jessica Carswell.

The Board of Commissioners is currently accepting letters of interest for filling the vacancy.

Eligible applicants must be a resident of the Ward for at least one year continuously prior to the appointment and must be a registered voter in the Ward. Eligible applicants must not have been convicted or pled guilty or no contest to any felony charge within three years of the appointment.

Carswell’s resignation became effective February 16. She was appointed in 2018.
