Dyshon Jamal Revell, 21, of the 300 block of Chelsea Avenue in Glenside, pleaded guilty to statutory sexual assault, indecent assault of a person under 16 years of age, and corruption of a minor after admitting that he had sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl at the DoubleTree Guest Suites in Plymouth Township in March 2025, The Reporter said.
According to their coverage, Revell faces a possible maximum sentence of 11.5 to 23 months in the county jail on the charges. He was 20 years old at the time of the incident.
An investigation began on March 19, 2025, when Plymouth Township police were tipped by the hotel’s employees that a male had booked a room with an underage girl. The girl later told detectives that Revell picked her up after she secretly left her parent’s home on March 18. She and Revell then entered a hotel room and engaged in sexual activity, The Reporter said.
Police pulled over a friend of Revell’s, who had agreed to drive the girl home. When officers questioned her, she said she was in a relationship with Revell, who she knew by his alias, Sean Parker.
After learning Revell’s true name and age, the girl later confronted him on the phone. He reportedly denied his identity and advised her not to involve her mother or the police.
The girl later told authorities that she had sexual contact with Revell at his home on two occasions before March 19, The Reporter said.
