Capricorn Books of Jenkintown announced over the weekend that it will open at a new location after the Fourth of July weekend.

The shop will continue at 605 West Avenue until June 27, at which point it will close for a week. Owner Jackie Botto launched the business in 2022.

The new shop will be located at 745 Yorkway Place. Botto said artist Greg Lytle, an Elkins Park/Abington native who operates Hand Over Fist Signs in Glenside, hand-drew lettering to match the style and architecture of the new location.

“As we prep our new space we’re also going to start packing up all the non-essentials in our current spot. So please excuse our appearance in the upcoming weeks,” Botto said in a post.
