Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) announced that Sabrina B., a Dresher resident and member of Troop 7360, along with Lauren H., an Oreland resident and member of Troop 7242, will be honored with a Gold Award at Temple Ambler Learning Center on Sunday, May 31.

The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouting. Organizers will announce the recipient of Girl Scouts of the USA’s $5,000 Gold Award Scholarship during the event. The accolade is awarded to one Gold Award Girl Scout per council that has demonstrated extraordinary leadership and measurable, sustainable impact and addresses an issue of national and/or global significance. 

GSEP will also recognize 127 Girl Scouts who earned their Silver Awards during the 2025-2026 member year. Representative Mary Jo Daley will be in attendance.

• Silver Awards: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 
• Gold Awards: 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
