Dayjuan Amore McBride, 25, of the 200 block of Logan Avenue in the Glenside/North Hills section of Upper Dublin Township, was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in prison after he was found sleeping in his vehicle in parking lot between Linden and Logan avenues on December 5, 2023, The Reporter said.
Upper Dublin police observed a “large bag containing marijuana on the driver side floorboard and a black bag that contained smaller, clear baggies often associated with packaging narcotics” while making several attempts to awaken McBride.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed bags containing marijuana, cocaine, suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, a stolen/loaded handgun, and a rifle, The Reporter said.
McBride pleaded guilty to charges of carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a prohibited firearm, receiving stolen property, possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, including cocaine and marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances, The Reporter said.
