A fatal crash took place on I-276 East near the Fort Washington Exit #339 around 12:00am on Tuesday, July 8, NBC10 reported.

An investigation is underway though further details have not been released.

The crash had the left eastbound lanes closed for hours.

Two were killed in a multiple-vehicle crash near the Willow Grove and Fort Washington exits last week.
