Mrs. Anna Bressi, a Jenkintown resident and former teacher in the Cheltenham School District, passed away on Sunday, June 1 at Artis Senior Living. She was 100 years old.

Mrs. Bressi graduated from South Philadelphia High School and received a master’s degree from Middlebury College in language and international studies, her obituary said. She began her teaching career at Bristol Borough High School and later moved to Elkins Park Middle School to teach language for 25 years until her retirement in 1986. She also served as the head of the Foreign Language Department.

Her visitation took place on Saturday, June 7 at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge. Her graveside service followed at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley.
