Jenkintown police are searching for a serial grocery store theft suspect, 6ABC reported.
According to their coverage, the same individual is being sought for the same type of retail theft at an ACME in Feasterville.
Hector Ybe, owner of Elkins Park Nutrition in Cheltenham Township, told Glenside Local that the individual stole from the High School Road business district as well.
“He came in ordered food from Goat House Creamery, our store, and the bar, then left without paying,” Ybe said. “We called the cops and they told him to never come back.”
At grocery stores, the suspect has been stealing bulk packages of Gatorade, Snapple products, and Red Bull, 6ABC said, by hovering “around the exit waiting for the coast to clear” before walking away without paying.
The incident in Feasterville took place on April 30, and the Jenkintown theft took place on April 28.
“I put a flyer out for all the local agencies, and I was contacted by Jenkintown Police who are also investigating the same individual for the same type of retail theft,” Detective Stephen Brookes of the Lower Southampton Police Department said.
If you recognize the man in the videos below, you are asked to contact Lower Southampton police and/or Jenkintown police:
