Hatboro to host Town Hall meeting to discuss on-street parking regulations on May 13

The Borough of Hatboro announced today that a special Town Hall meeting to discuss on-street parking regulations will take place on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00pm at the Pennypack Community Center, 130 Spring Avenue.

From the announcement:

In recent months, Borough Council has received feedback from residents, Public Safety Officials, and Staff regarding on-street parking issues taking place on streets that are more narrow than others throughout the Borough. These streets currently permit street parking on both sides of the road which creates a very narrow lane for vehicular traffic at times. To date, Borough Council has received requests to examine and revisit on-street parking regulations on the following streets: Rorer Avenue, Drexel Road, Park Avenue, Springdale Avenue, Oakdale Avenue, and Loller Road.

Borough Council is welcoming residents living throughout the Borough to discuss the abovementioned streets in addition to discussing any other on-street parking issues residents may have encountered recently in the Borough.

Borough Council wishes to obtain as much feedback as possible from residents in order to determine possible parking amendments in areas of the Borough, the need for any traffic studies in certain areas, etc.
